Capitol Hill is both disgusted and downright disturbed by a picture of a bulging, underwear-clad crotch sent to an attractive college student from the Twitter feed of New York Rep. Anthony Weiner.
Weiner, in an interview with Fox News, said, "I know for a fact that my account was hacked."
However the story turns out, it points out the dangers that lurk in social media. So here are five tips to make sure you don't become the Internet's next Weiner:
1. Don't take the picture. The ready availability of digital cameras in iPhones and laptops means the fun of photography is more accessible than ever. Fortunately, the easiest way to avoid sending an inappropriate photo is simple: DON'T TAKE AN INAPPROPRIATE PHOTO.
2. Don't post the picture. If you've already broken the first rule, why tell the world?

Nice song lyrics, BTW...
Is that Weiner really you,
Did you twitter with a pic,
To impress her with your d k,
Now you say it was a hacker,
Tweeting of your tally whacker,
Tony, Tony, tell us true,
Is that Weiner really you?
Nice.
He’s been grilled but is Weiner Man done?
It’s a story that’s so very fun
Watch out where you’re messin’
That’s Anthony’s lesson
Yes, his weiner should stay in a bun
Did you twitter with a pic,
To impress her with your d k,
Now you say it was a hacker,
Tweeting of your tally whacker,
Tony, Tony, tell us true,
Is that Weiner really you?
Bravo! My contribution, thereto:
Tony, Tony, tell us true
Is that Weiner really you
Either way, Id deny it too
A teensy-weensy package, now who knew
Tony, Tony tell us true
Is that Weiner really you
The shame, the embarrassment, what to do,
I suggest EXTENZE, for she and you
Unfortunately most who do this won’t take this advice. Like Weiner, they are sick...or lacking in self control...and usually very needy and want a thrill because they can’t get it in real life. The Internet has become a way for such perverts to have their fun and believe they are not being “bad.” Eventually they either get caught (like Weiner) or by the law, or their spouses. No amount of advice helps them stop, they have serious emotional problems and having a secret fling on the Net is just too enticing for them to stop themselves from acting like perverted idiots.
